Currently, huge projects for the construction of modern solar, wind, and hydroelectric power plants worth 13 billion dollars are being implemented across Uzbekistan. To date, 9 large solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of 1.6 gigawatts, as well as 6 hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 183 megawatts, have been successfully commissioned. This indicates Uzbekistan's serious steps on the path of "green" energy.
