Uzbekistan's non-gold exports recorded significant growth in the first half of 2026. In January-June, the country's exports of this type amounted to $14.4 billion, an increase of 32.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

This growth was driven by an increase in the export of services, textile and light industry products, as well as metallurgy and mining industry products. Particularly, jewelry exports showed the fastest growth rate, increasing by 285 percent.

This economic growth is opening new opportunities for Malaysian companies. They can explore ways to export to Uzbekistan's rapidly developing markets for services, textiles, metallurgy, and agricultural products, or to cooperate with local enterprises.

These data, provided by Trend News Agency, indicate the potential for strengthening regional economic ties.
