Uzbekistan is creating wide opportunities for foreign investments. According to the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as of November 1, 2023, the number of enterprises operating in the country with the participation of foreign investments was 13,019. 4,822 of them (37%) are joint ventures, and 8,197 (63%) are foreign enterprises. These numbers show the steadily growing interest of foreign capital in the economy of Uzbekistan.
In January-March 2025, the volume of capital investments amounted to 120.4 trillion soums, and the share of foreign investments and loans reached 71%. This indicates that the investment potential of the country is high.
