Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan adopted an Action Plan for 2026–2028 and signed a number of important cooperation agreements.
This important step was taken at a business forum held between the two countries. At the forum, 115 entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and 95 from Kyrgyzstan participated, focusing on issues of further expanding cooperation in trade and industrial sectors.
In the last decade, the trade volume between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan significantly increased. Specifically, during this period, the trade turnover increased by more than seven times, currently amounting to 1.2 billion dollars.
The two countries aim to bring the annual trade turnover to 2 billion dollars. This was reported by Daryo publication.
